Boston Fashion Week 2010 – Much More Than Runways

On the heels of New York Fashion Week the City of Boston offers its own take on Fashion Week.  Boston Fashion Week technically takes place between this Friday September 24th and Friday October 1st but some “Pre BFW” events have already started.  The founder of Boston Fashion Week Jay Calderin is asking those in the Boston Fashion Community to think outside of the box: Traditional runway shows, special events and parties will always be a mainstay of a week that celebrates fashion, but I’d like to personally extend a challenge to both the creative forces behind the week and their audiences, to think differently about fashion.
